What Time Is It?

I bought a dresser that had a large round mirror attached. I took the mirror off and stored it away.
The mirror broke. Well shoot. Not to fear. After I took the glass off I was reminded of a faux mirror I saw in a Pottery Barn catalog.
I drilled a hole in the center to mimic where the hands would have been. Sanded the heck out it and I am pretty pleased with myself.
The circle is made of 5 horizontal planks and not one large piece of plywood. Cool.
Its pretty big, about hip height. Wish I had somewhere to put it.

Market in the Window

More yummy new stuff for the shop, Laughing Daisy. Missy sewed basket liners out of vintage linens. See them there under the table? I found a similar basket today and will see if she will show me how to make a liner.
On a trip to Boise Missy and I saw these great lamp shades. We knew we had to make some. Missy's is hanging above the table. The shade was stripped and wrapped with white 'rags'.
I made one for myself and love. I'm not sure how to use it in my house but will come up with something.

Spring Display

Jennifer does such a good job at displaying all our stuff.
The large green screen in the background sold. I have been looking for another set to do in cream.
I am working on a small wooden bed/cot. I need to make it a custom size matress and then cover it with blue ticking.

Blue Secretary

An egg blue secretary desk. It was white. I sanded it a bit, painted, sanded more and finished with a walnut stain. The hardware was nice and didnt change it

The inside needed to be painted too. I thought it would be nice displayed open with a vignette on it.
