A Whole Mess of Stuff

Years and years ago my mom and I bought all the brown transferware we could find. Then I packed it away for years and years. Last fall, around Thanksgiving, I took it over to Jennifer's (Laughing Daisy in Kimberly) and it did very well. I still have some left and they look great with my new favorite, faux moss covered rocks.

Here is what I got done today. My husband will be so happy I made a dent in the garage.

Huge vintage blackboard with blue trim. Jennifer says she has a bunch of old school stuff and this will go great with it.
White shabby mirror and quilt/towel rack.

People seem to love the chippy off white so here is more of it. A cute scalloped table, tray, and foot stool.
A blue chicken wire basket and blue salt pig. The primitive child's broom and wire rack came from the last trip. Behind is a blue cork/chalk board.
The blue frame is a mirror for Mia's room.
In the top picture is a red metal cake and 2 pie stacker. I ordered 2 vinyls to put on the outside. One that says pies and one that says cake. I'll show you when it is done.
Also in the top pic is a blue foot stool with a bare top. I am thinking of making a stuff fabric top for. Maybe using some lace doilies.

Spring in February

Sunday was a very nice day, almost 50'. This is Idaho. I'm not complaining.
So, I got alot done. It is so much easier to work outside than my small laundry room.
Blue patio set. There are 2 chairs. I covered them in a favorite quilting fabric.

I'm not quite sure what this was. It is metal and was orange. I used a doily to paint a white pattern on the top tray. It is a bit smaller than the table in the above picture.

A twin size bed. Sorry, there is a wheelbarrow handle in the shot.

Nesting table set.
My garage is a bit emptier now and I am hoping for some more warm days and see what else is in there.

Catch Up

I found this green sewing desk and didnt do much to it. I took out the sewing machine and rubbed on some brown shoe polish. Jennifer put it in one of her window displays. Super cute. The quilt under the vintage sewing machine is mine.
Another sewing table, this one a bit older. It didnt come with the sewing machine. The little door on the front flips down to reveal some storage. The top flips open to make the top twice as big. I envisioned finding a rectangle pan that fit into the space left by the sewing machine.

A slip covered ottoman. Not the best picture.

Yellow end table. This table is so heavy. Solid. The yellow was a nice change.
Up next is a dining table and wood twin bed.
